Dream News: New Wii 2 Details?
This is most likely a rumor but hey its fun to pretend sometimes.
Apparently the Next Wii will hit in 3rd quarter 2010 and will have Blu-ray and 1080p.
Very possible on the 1080p not too sure on the blu-ray part but we can't predict the future and we know how crazy the people at Nintendo are.
Rumored list is as follows:

Rumored list is as follows:
- The Wii2 system will feature a Blu-Ray drive with a secondary aim of stopping piracy.
- 1080P and lower resolutions will be supported, for blu-ray movies and games.
- The release date is scheduled for third quarter of 2010.
- The release will be worldwide and on the same day for all countries.
- A scheme will be available in which it is possible to trade in the original Wii for a cheaper price on the new Wii 2.

Random Post: Wii Collection 10 28 09
Finally added Wii games onto the Shelf unit, They have replaced the DVD's (which got bumped to the unscene bottom shelf)
They just didnt fit on the rack near the Wii anymore so might put the SNES there for now.
*click image for maximum resolution (btw those are E3 4 disc dvd specials only 3 years were made (missing '06))

Demo Play DJ Hero
Went over to Best Buy to get some footage of the DJ Hero Demo. [Video Below]
Would like to start off with the fact that I agree with Activions' Milking of franchises but i will put that aside for my impressions.
The game plays pretty similar to how you would think it plays.
Put a Guitar on your lap and just tap away. if you can do that, you can play DJ Hero.
However there is a little more to the game then that. there is a cross fader bar that will either shift the green to the left, or the blue to the right. Timing is VERY strict for this and will break many combo's.
Other Features,
Scratching: If it looks like random zig-zagging on a sustained note, hold the note and just move the record up and down to the beat, However if it has arrows, must be "scratched" in the same direction.
Sound Effects: Not sure exactly what its called but theres a little knob that changes what sound is made, the Red section will just show a think long line in which pressing the Red button will make sound effect of your choice. Not sure what this is for but it's in there.
Rewinding: Alot harder than it seems. if you keep your combo going on long enough you will earn a rewing, spin the record back to rewind the track and replay parts of the song for extra points(watch me fail at this multiple times during the video)
Score Multiplier: Not done at all like any other music games. Instead of focusing on your note combo, its based solely on how long you have played without messing up, Great to build your multiplier back up during a quiet part.
Peripheral: Felt nice actually, didnt feel like it would break easily (its a stationary object how would it really break?) The record spins VERY smoothly, and the cross fader bar has a very faint click when in the middle position to help you get back (a spring loading fader would have been nicer)
Euphoria: Just think Star Power and Overdrive and you got it. Activated by big black button above cross fader switch.

Dynamic Challenges in RB2 featuring.... Guitar Hero World tour!?
Well apparently RB2 will use game tags to make up new challenges even tho the game doesnt support exporting other Rock Band on the Wii but yet its still there
after importing some of my songs from other games, it seems the game decided to make a Tool and Guitar Hero World Tour Setlist Challenge.
