OFF TO NEW YORK

Well it’s finally here. My trip to New York to visit family and old friends :D.(Lindsy will be tagging along so family finally gets to meet GF I’ve been living with for almost a year thousands of miles away)

On my trip there i will also visit Nintendo World Store as well as other such City Places and take pics to post here, it’s been far too long NYC and I’m coming home for a visit!!!

May not update while there.. (don’t do much updating as is..)

On a side note, Picked up Dragon’s Lair and finally got good enough to beat the game on Arcade with a Set of lives and no continues. Will try to make a video when i can as well as my thoughts on it. (Been wanting to play Dragon’s Lair for years but this was finally my first chance on DSi). Also picked up myNotebook Blue and it has really helped as a quick To DO list holder for this trip as well as games i need to beat so i DEFINETLY recommend it (or any other color) since it’s a mere 200 points.

I hope you all had a Safe and Happy Holidays and I wish you all a Happy New Years. May we all do better than last year, whether or not yours was good or bad.

What i left home was with a Wow Wow Wubsy plush (he jumped in the way to save Charmander…), a newton executive ball toy, a plain ol’ hacky sack, and a Card from the Dinosaur King Arcade game, ended up winning an additional 250 tickets from E.L.F. card but did not use so have like 300 something tickets left in my card..

Wii be back soon to try and Win a Giant Tails Plush (almost 5000 tickets..)

Lindsy is all better!!!

Lindsy update, she is all better stone is passed and yay.

Anyways, off to get up early and expect pictures tomorrow!

This will be my first time to visit the Sega Arcade but if it’s anything i hope it will certainly not be the last.

LEDboy Super Pixel Brothers

As you can see it’s Super Mario Bros created pretty well despite the fact that its on an 8x8 LED screen.

Video is pretty self explanatory and major props to this guy.

I will be uploading an instructable of how you can make your own LEDBOY game system which will enable you to play this game. Please note that This game is still a work in progress as there are only currently four levels (I still have over thirty to program in) and also there are no bad guys or items to pick up just yet.

I think it will be quite fun once completed though.

I have given this version of the game the name "Super Pixel Bros"

Also, I have tried to replicate the exact levels from the original game as closely as I could within the 64 pixels that I have.

A GameWorks Happy Holiday

I recently got in contact with Gameworks through their twitter and luckily i was able to get some Gameworks coupons along with a lovely Holiday card from them. (First card of the season woo)

As Soon as Lindsy is better and we both have a free day you can bet your ass we will be there and there will be pictures!

Lack of Updates Recently

Friday was a sad day indeed D:

Had to rush GF to hospital after much pain, thankfully she’s on the fast track to recovery!!!

Those wondering she had a kidney stone which doesn’t look fun at all… Was there since Friday and was finally released on Monday.

Exact info is that Kidney stone ended up infecting her kidney and then it went into her bloodstream, but luckily they have sent her home finally with the right antibodies.

She has till Friday to pass it and if not when we go back they will give her some shock therapy on Monday to try and break it up.(why they don’t do that now i have no idea)

ANYWAYS, she’s no longer in pain 90% of the time and everything is looking up :)

Hopefully everything is 100% again in about 2 weeks to when we go to New York for the after Holidays to spend some time with my parents and hang around NYC.
